चंद्रमा मघा नक्षत्र में है।

It is the bright, resplendent, royal Nakshatra and largely signifies all forms of authority, power and fame. Literal translation of is : the mighty, great, most important, bountiful. Magha Nakshatra: Magha has several names in different parts of India. Makha, magaha, arundhatisha, ajna, pitriya, karman are some of them.

It is at the initial point of Regulus, the bright star. It represents treasure, the deity is Pitris or pitr. It is the beginning part of Karma or any action pertaining particularly to a yajna.

The tree representing Magha is the Banyan or bargad, vatvriksa, we know the longevity, authority and royalty of Vatvriksha.

Its Shakti or siddhi is the ability to be able to leave the body at will, or the transformation.

It represents the majesty, the brightness of fire, the light, heat and a special authority to dispense boons or favours.

Its symbol is the throne.

Magha gives fame that lasts through the generations.

Those born under it seek a high reputation for themselves.

It is auspicious for all ceremonies as well as religious activities.

All those who have important positions in Magha, like Lagna, Lagnesh, Sun or Moon are generous, large hearted people. They are willing to give. 

Look at its position , the start of Fifth House in Kaal Purush Kundali, the Mool trikona of Sun and the brightness of Regulus, the Star.

The fourth is home, the Moon, the Ma and the Fifth is the World at large, the auspicious Sun. The boundary marks the very concept of vasudhaiv kutumbakam.
